Vikki Laing shot a two-over-par 74 (37-37) to be occupying joint 42nd place after a very windy day for the first round of the Future Tour's $85,000 El Paso Classic at Underwood Golf Complex.
There was no sign of a score for Pamela Feggans. Presumably the Ayrshire player was taking the week off from America's No 2 women's professional circuit.
