VIKKI AND PAMELA SURVIVE CUT
IN FUTURES TOUR EVENT

Vikki Laing and Pamela Feggans made the 36-hole cut comfortably in the Cigna Classic US Futures Tour event at Gillette Ridge Golf Club, Bloomfield, Connecticut.
Vikki went into the third and final round in joint ninth place after rounds of 72 and 73 for a one-over-par total of 145 over the 6,401yd, par-72 course.
Pamela pulled herself up out of the danger zone by following up a 77 with a one-under 71 for 148 and a joint 15th position. Brenda McLarnon from Belfast, however, was not one of the 70 players with totals of 10-over 154 who survive the cut. Brenda scored 77 and 80 for 157.
South Korean M J Hur led the field by three strokes with 68 and 73 for 139.
