in Strathtyrum Trophy qualifier

Three times title-winner and the defending champion this year, Marilyn Henderson, based in Germany, had an 86 over the New Course in the first qualifying round of the Strathtyrum Trophy tournament at St Andrews.
Beaten finalist Ann Ramsay (Kirriemuir) had a 76 over the New Course, two behind the leader at this course, Jerry Lawrence (Rochester & Cobham Park)
