Defending champion Vikki
misses Gettysburg cut

Vikki Laing failed to survive the 36-hole in the Gettysburg Championship, the US Duramed Futures Tour event she won last year for her only success as a tour professional.The Musselburgh exile had disastrous second round of seven-over-par 79 to add to a first-round 76. A two-round aggregate of 155 (11 over par) was four shots over the limit mark to play the final round at The Links at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.Vikki had birdies at two long holes, the fourth and the 18th, but she had a triple bogey 7 at the 13th and bogeys at the first, sixth, seventh, eighth, 15th and 16th in halves of 39 and 40.
The other Scot who plays America's No 2 women's pro tour, Pamela Feggans from Patna, Ayrshire, beat the cut with a pair of 74s for 148. She is 10 shots behind the joint leaders, Gerina Mendoza from New Mexico and Canada's Samantha Richdale.
