IRELAND WIN TEAM TROPHY IN
BRITISH STROKE-PLAY

Ireland's Maguire twins, Lisa and Leona, and Tara Delaney combined to win the international team event, staged in conjunction with the first two rounds of the British women's open amateur stroke-play championship.
With only two of their three scores counting daily for the team total, Ireland tied with Netherlands on the 287 mark - and then won the trophy by virtue of having a lower second-round total than their Dutch rivals.
Tara's 69 and Lisa's 72 made all the difference today, enabling the Irish to overehaul the front-running Netherlands team.
