Jacquline Sneddon 6th at Olympia
Jacqueline Sneddon, from Meigle in Perthshire, a past pupil of Madras College St Andrews, and now a student at Grand Canyon University, took 6th place in the St. Martin's University Invitational at Olympia G&CC in Washington on Friday.

GCU takes 3rd at St. Martin's Invitational
OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Grand Canyon University women's golf team placed third at the St. Martin's University Invitational Friday.
GCU shot 642 in the two-day event at Olympia Golf & Country Club. Western Washington won the tournament, shooting 619. West Texas A&M was second at 626.
Grand Canyon's Jacqueline Sneddon (pictured) shot 82-75 -- 157 to tie for sixth. Teammate Jennifer Lutz shot 79-82 -- 161, finishing 10th. Jacqueline Schram shot 85-77 -- 162 to tie for 11th. Brittany Anderson shot 83-80 -- 163 to tie for 13th, and Erica Schlomer shot 84-87 -- 171 to tie for 19th.
WWU's Kaitlin Parker shot 77-73 -- 150 to win the medalist honors. She beat teammate Christa Goldie 74-78 -- 152 by two strokes. St. Martin's Lauren Roberts was third after shooting 76-77 -- 153.
The Antelopes will play in the Western Washington Invitational Monday and Tuesday in Bellingham, Wash.
