New boys from Glasgow make top 25
in West Viriginia tournament
Two freshmen students from Glasgow, Gavin Stirling (Ohio Valley University) and Alasdair Forsyth (Davis & Elkins College, West Virginia) figure among the top 25 finishers in a field of 74 players for the West Virginia Central Regional college tournament at Canaan Valley Resort.
Gavin had rouns of 73 and 75 for a four-over-par total of 148 which earne dhim joint 17th place.
Forsyth scored 73 and 77 for 150 and a share of 24th place.
The winner was Ryan Terdik (Concord) with 69 and 70 for five-under-par 139.
Concord University (578) also won the team title by one stroke in a tight finish with joint runners-up Ohio Valley and Charleston.
Davis & Elkins came 12th on 620.
