Scots Lindsay and Molloy in top 10
of Viking classic at Fort Dodge
Banchory's Adam Lindsay (Iowa Wesleyan College) finished joint third and Glasgow's Graeme Molloy (Grand View College) shared eighth place in a field of 78 players for the GVC Viking Classic at Fort Dodge Country Club, Iowa.
Adam scored 73 and 71 for a two-over-par total of 144 over the par-71, 6213yd course.
He finished two shots behind the winner, Brett Nymeyer (Waldorf) (71-69).
Molloy followed up a 78 with a 69, which equalled the tournament low, to finish on 147.
Grand View (591) won the team event with Iowa Wesleyan (607) fourth of 14 teams.
