Johanna wins $2,000 top prize in

SunCoast Ladies Series opener

Johanna (Head) Mundy from Ascot but based in Orlando, Florida has won the first SunCoast Ladies Series tournament of 2009 at Diamondback Golf Club, Haines City, Florida.
Johanna, who married Ian Poulter's caddyy Terry Mundy in 2005, had rounds of 72, 74 and 67 for a three-under-par total of 213.
That headed a field of 16 - two of whom were amateurs - and won 35-year-old Johanna the top prize of $2,000.
Taylor Leon from Texas was runner-up with scores of 72, 72 and 71 for 215. She earned $1,000.
Third on 217 was Kristin Tamulis from Florida with rounds of 72, 71 and 74 to earn $750.
It's not cheap to play on the SunCoast Ladies Tour - $175 to register and $450 dollars entry fee to each tournament.
There's another event coming up this week. We'll keep you posted on how it works out.
