Annika announces first baby due in the autumn
Well, former world No 1 lady professional Annika Sorenstam has not wasted any time after stepping away from the LPGA Tour. She has announced today on her website that she and her husband, Mike McGee, are expecting their first child in the autumn.
Sorenstam retired from the LPGA Tour late last year after 72 victories and 10 majors, saying she wanted to start a business and a family.
"We have had a lot of exciting changes in the past few months, and adding a new addition to our family later this fall will certainly be at the top of that list," Sorenstam said. "We are absolutely thrilled and look forward to this new chapter of our lives."
Annika was born near Stockholm on October 1970. She was married to David Esch from 1997 to 2005.
She married Mike McGee on January 10 this year.
