Jodi in six-way tie for lead on 70 in

Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational

Curtis Cup player Jodi Ewart (New Mexico University) from Yorkshire was sharing the lead with five other players on the two-under-par 70 mark after the first round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational women's college tournament at the University of Texas Golf Club, Austin, Texas.
Jodi birdied the third, 11th and 14th and dropped only one shot, at the 18th, over a par-72 course of 6,324yd.
Sharing the top spot were Canada's Maude-Aimee LeBlanc, her Purdue team-mate, Spain's Maria Hernandez, Lucy Nunn (Arkansas), Stefanie Kenoyer (Furman) and Jennifer Osborn (Arizona State).
Arizona State (287) are setting the pace in the team event, ahead of Arkansas (288), Purdue and Vanderbilt on 291 and New Mexico (292) in a field of 17 teams.
