Paul Lawrie Junior Jug Tournament launched
The Paul Lawrie Foundation Junior Jug tournament has been added to the SGU and SLGA under-18 schedule.
It will feature qualifying events at Nairn Dunbar, Inchmarlo, Downfield, Craigielaw, Kingsfield, Cowglen and Southerness, with the top four handicap and scratch players, either male or female, qualifying for the final at Dundonald Links on September 5.
Lawrie, who made the announcement at an SGU academy day at The Carrick on Loch Lomond, said: "It is vital for young players to gain as much competitive experience as they can in quality events. I am pleased to be part of the ongoing development of Scottish golfers."
