Midlothian girls seek four-timer in Cuthbertson Cup
Midlothian girls are out to make it four wins in a row when they defend the Cuthbertson Cup at Burntisland this weekend.
Rachael Archibald (Merchants), Cara Easton (Dalmahoy), Rachael Livingstone (Musselburgh) and Jane Turner (now Craigielaw, then Mortonhall) won it in 2006 before Turner, Easton, Gillian Simpson (Murrayfield) and Rachael Watton (Mortonhall) retained the trophy 12 months later.
Easton, Simpson and Watton joined forces with Gabrielle MacDonald (Craigielaw) to win it again last year and now Simpson, Watton, MacDonald and Kate McIntosh (Broomieknowe) will be flying the flag against Stirling and Clackmannanshire in the first round on Sunday.
