Angus name team for Royal Dornoch

Angus team for the North Division women's inter-county team championship at Royal Dornoch Golf Club from June 27 to 29 is:

Fiona Blair (Carnoustie Ladies), Jackie Brown (Monifieth), Fiona Gilbert (Carnoustie Ladies), Katy McNicoll (Carnoustie Ladies), Ann Ramsay (Kirriemuir), Ailsa Summers (Carnoustie Ladies), Mary Summers (Carnoustie Ladies), Rebecca Wilson (Monifieth).

Reserves: Shonagh Raitt (Forfar), Jane Grubb (Montrose).

Mary and Ailsa Summers are, of course, mother and daughter, Ailsa having just become one of the youngest winners of the Angus women's county championship which her mother has won six times.

The winners of the North Division championship, in which Aberdeenshire, Northern Counties and Perth & Kinross are the other participants, will go forward to the Scottish county finals at Baberton Golf Club, Edinburgh on September 18 to 20.
