Tegan wins Stableford at Dunecht House

PAUL LAWRIE FOUNDATION

DUNECHT HOUSE STABLEFORD

Report by Murray Carnie
Twenty six competitors took part on Sunday, under blue skies and strong breeze, which did not prevent a lot of players scoring well. It was the girls who stole the show with three of them finishing in the top five.
Winner was Tegan Seivwright ( Deeside), pictured right by Cal Carson Golf Agency, a graduate out of our flag tour, with an excellent 49 points. Close behind was nine year old Shannon Mc William (Aboyne) who racked up 47 points. Darren Smith( Inverurie) came in 3rd place with 44 points to pip Connor Prudence (Turriff) on a better inward half.
Zoe Marr rounded off an excellent day for the girls when she finished in fifth place with 40 points.
Many thanks to all the members at Dunecht House, especially Brian Elrick, who turned out in large numbers to assist in the running of this event. The course and in particular the greens were in fantastic condition for this time of year.
