FIONA HUNTER SETS SENIORS


PACE AT KINROSS


Baberton's Fiona Hunter led the field with a par round of 73 on the opening day of the Scottish senior women's amateur stroke-play championship over the Montgomery course at Kinross today.

She had a one-stroke advantage over Alex Glennie (Kilmarnock Barassie) with Noreen Fenton (Dunbar) a shot behind in third place on 75. Helen Faulds (Douglas Park) came next with a 76.
