Jane, Carly and Laura come from

behind to win Irish team title

Contrary to early reports from the course, Scotland won the international team event at the 3 Irish women's open amateur stroke-play championship at Douglas Golf Club, Cork today.
Jane Turner (Craigielaw), Carly Booth (Comrie) and Laura Murray (Alford) scored a famous come-from-behind victory over the final round.
They had been trailing Ireland by two shots with 18 holes to go but Leona Maguire and Lisa Maguire had counting scores of 81 and 75 respectively.
In contrast, Carly Booth had a 73 and Jane Turner a 75 for a third-round total of 148, compared with the Irish twins' Sunday total of 156.
Australia's Jane Bolland and Stacey Keating, both of whom scored 74, also finished with a third-round total of 148 which enabled them to leapfrog over Ireland into second place behind the Scots.
Well done, Carly, Jane and Laura!
