Musselburgh player has hole in one on way to a 68

Vikki Laing leads Scots' challenge

in AIB Ladies' Irish Open

Vikki Laing, pictured right, from Musselburgh was challenging for the first-round lead with a good opening score of four-under-par 68 in the AIB Ladies Irish Open at Portmarnock links near Dublin today.

Vikki produced a shot of perfection - a hole in one at the short third.
Sweden’s Maria Hjorth is the joint leader with France’s Julie Greciet on five under par 67.
The 22-year-old Greciet, from Biarritz, set the clubhouse target at five-under 67 and was joined by Hjorth, who had her first daughter five months ago.
