Aberdeen-born Katy Cardno onTCU golf roster

Another Scot is playing on the United States college golf circuit.
She's Aberdeen-born Katy Cardno, a freshman student at Texas Christian University (TCU for short).
Her mum and dad are Caroline and Derek Cardno from Milltimber, to the west of Aberdeen on the road to Culter.
Derek was an assistant professional with Doug Smart at Banchory Golf Club for a year then went into the oil industry and has never looked back.
They moved when the children were quite small to Houston, Texas. Derek's mum and dad, Dorothy and Graham Cardno, still live in Milltimber.
