Amelia (14) bidding to go one better next

month in Shootout at Phoenix, Arizona

Amelia Taylor, 14-year-old junior member of St Annes Old Links Golf Club, Lancashire, has accepted an invitation to compete in
the Desert Shootout at Phoenix, Arizona from December 28 to 30.

Amelia finished second in the age 13 group last year
and is hoping to go one better this year in the age 14 group. Amelia is currently the USkids European champion
in the age 14 group,which she won in May over Gullane 2.

Amelia will also be competing in the girls' events at the 3rd Hacienda del Alamo February Festival at the five-start golf resort in the Murcia province, the sunny south-east of Spain.
