Oliver and Alexis win the Polo Junior

Classic titles at Palm Beach Gardens

Oliver Schniederjans and Alexis Thompson won the boys' and girls' titles respectively in the Polo Junior Classic.
Schniederjans beat Cory Whitsett by one hole and Thompson bt Victoria Tanco by 3 and 2 in the girls' final.
In the earlier boys' semi-finals, Whitsett from Houston defeated fellow Texan, Jordan Spieth of Dallas, 2 and 1.
Schniederjans from Powder Springs, Georgia won his semi-final against Cameron Wilson of Rowayton, Connecticut 3 and 2.
Schniederjans had never won an American Junior Golf Association event previously.
In the Girls' Division semi-finals, Rolex Junior Player of the Year Victoria Tanco of Bradenton, Florida was victorious over Kelly Shon of Port Washington, New York State 5 and 3.
Alexis Thompson of Coral Springs, Florida defeated A.J. Newell of Tampa 3 and 1.
All the matches were played at the PGA National Resort & Spa's championship course at Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
