Gemma Dryburgh finishes sixth in
strong field at Orlando
Aberdeen teenager Gemma Dryburgh played in the Future Collegians' World Tour's Champions Gate Challenge last weekend.
The tournament was played over 54 holes at the Orlando course by a strong field representing 15 countries in the girls' section alone and 24 overall .
Gemma's dad, John Dryburgh, reports:
"Unfortunately Gemma got off to a slow start with a 79 with too many putts on the slow greens. She played much better on the Saturday and shot 75, three over. She had a plugged ball on the 17th and had a triple bogey, otherwise she would have been closer to the leaders.

"Her Sunday score of level par 72 left her finishing sixth, nine shots behind the winner, Dottie Ardina, one of the strong Philippines squad playing in the United States."
