Laura Murray pipped for place

in North-east Alliance history

Scotland cap Laura Murray from Alford almost made a little bit of golfing history by becoming the first female player ever to have the lowest scratch score in a North-east Alliance competition.
Having been the clubhouse leader at the Murcar Links with a three-under-par round of 66, she was pipped by one of the last men to finish in a field of 84, Scott Larkin (Banchory) with a 65.
