Chloe Goadby (St Regulus) wins East of Scotland

Girls’ spring meeting at Pitreavie, Dunfermline

Twelve-year-old new member Chloe Goadby from the St Regulus club, St Andrews took the overall prize at the East of Scotland Girls' Golf Association spring meeting at Pitreavie Golf Club, Dunfermline on Monday.
Chloe showed her potential for the future with a brilliant net score of 62 off a handicap of 19.
The glorious sunshine and almost perfect playing conditions produced some great scores. Rachael Watton from Mortonhall won the scratch prize with an excellent three under par round of 69. Rachael just missed out on equalling the course record of five under the par, held by Scotland international Louise Kenney, whose home course is Pitreavie).
Rachael misjudged her approach to the two-tiered 18th green, leaving herself an impossible Augusta-like downhill putt. Rachael then had to settle for her par rather than an eagle.
Other prize winners were:

Net score prizewinners:
Under-18s - Kate McIntosh (Broomieknowe) 68.
Under-16s - Tiffany Wood (Glenbervie) 67.
Under-14s - Rosie Everett ( Craigielaw) 66.
