Sally Watson lying 12th in big field at home college course

Curtis Cup selection Sally Watson (Stanford University) is lying 12th in a field of 121 players after two rounds of the NCAA Division 1 West Regional tournament over her home college course at Stanford.
Sally has shot 75 and 71 over a par-71, 6115yd course for a four-over-par tally of 146.
Former British stroke-play champion Roseanne Niven (California-Berkeley) is in joint 28th position on 150 with scores of 74 and 76.
Leading the field on 141 is Madeleine Ziegert (San Jose State) with scores of 67 and 74.

JODI EWART SLIPS BACK TO SHARE OF FOURTH PLACE
In the NCAA Division 1 Women's Central Region tournament at Columbus, Indiana, Jodi Ewart (New Mexico), joint leader with an opening score of 72 over a difficult and long par-72 course (6417yd), slipped down to a share of fourth place on 149 with a second-round 77.
Leading the field jointly are Victoria Park (Oklahoma State) (72-74) and Lizette Salas (Southern California (75-71).
