LINDA v LOUISE FOR STIRLING & CLACKMANNAN TITLE
County captain Linda Allan (Falkirk Tryst), the No 8 seed, won her way through to her fifth final of the Stirling & Clackmannan women's county golf championship at Falkirk Golf Club this evening.
Title-winner in 2006 but beaten on her three other appearances, Linda beat the 12th qualifier, Aileen Jenkins (Falkirk) by 3 and 1.
In Friday's final, she will play Louise MacGregor, the No 2 seed who is playing over her home course.
Louise, who was 21 last week, beat Jennifer Bryans (Bathgate), the No 6 seed, by 4 and 2 in the second semi-final.
