SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9

Fly to Marrakech from one of the designated airports: Edinburgh (Ryanair), Bristol (Ryanair), Manchester (Easyjet), Gatwick (Easyjet). You don't have to book the flights: Mohamed Fakir of Menara Travel Ltd will do that for you. Book in at the five-star Palm Plaza Hotel, Marrakech.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 10
A break-the-ice (although there certainly won't be any in Morocco at that time of the year) better-ball pairs competition (name your own partner or go into a draw) with prizes at the Royal Golf Club.

Cocktail party in the evening.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 11

Stableford Aggregate competition: Round 1 at Palmeraie Golf Club.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 12

Stableford Aggregate: Round 2 at Amelkis Golf Club.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 13

Break from golf. Guided tour of Marrakech. Afternoon of leisure.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 14

Stableford Aggregate: Round 3 at Al Maaden Golf Club.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 15

Stableford Aggregate: Round 4 at Amelkis Golf Club (Your worst points round of the four will be discounted. Aggregate for 54 holes only).

Gala prizegiving dinner.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16

Fly home after morning at leisure.

PACKAGE PRICE

The total package price of £789 per person is based on two people sharing a twin or double room. It includes the flights, buffet breakfast every morning, organised golf and six dinners at the hotel and transfers to and from the golf courses and airport/hotel plus the midweek tour of the city, in particular Marrakech's famous market square.

The price for a non-golfer is £630. Single-room supplement: £80 (for seven nights).

There will be 1-2-3 prizes in the Stableford Aggregate competition for the following categories:

Senior men (55 and over on January 1).

Senior ladies (50 and over on January 1).

+All competitors are required to take a handicap certificate signed by an official of their home golf club.
