Bowl by three strokes at Handsworth
Welsh international Amy Boulden (Maesdu), 16-year-old Curtis Cup team reserve, won the prestigious Bridget Jackson Bowl 36-hole women's open tournament at Handsworth Golf Club yesterday.

At Handsworth, Amy, pictured by Cal Carson Golf Agency, shot a pair of one-under-par 71s for a total of 142, four shots under the combined CSS of 73-73.
She won by three shots from Rachel Jennings (Izaak Walton), who played for GBandI in the recent Curtis Cup match at Essex County Club, Massachusetts, and Yorkshire youngster Jade Downes (Boothferry). Rachel had scores of 73 and 72, Jade 72 and 73.
