Liz and Audrey win West Division inter-county foursomes
Liz Keohone and Audrey Thompson of Loudoun Gowf Club, Ayrshire won the West Division inter-county foursomes tournament at Ballochmyle Golf Club, Ayrshire today.
They had a round of five-over-par 76 and headed the scratch returns by two shots from Donna Jackson (Cochrane Castle) and Liz Stewart (Glenburn).
Lesley Lloyd (Hayston) and Fioan Scott (Bothwell Castle0 were third with an 80.
In the Handicap section, the winners were Jackie MacDonald and Denis Cown of Ranfurly Castle with a net 69 1/2 off a handicap of 13 1/2.
Anne Lloyd (Hayston) and Pat Casey (Mount Ellen) (13) tied with Merope Dunlop and Maureen Taggart (Old Course Ranfurly) (14) on the net 70 mark. Anne and Pat were awarded second place with the better inward half.
