Amy Farrell leads Irish girls' qualifying with a three-over 75
NEWS RELEASE ISSUED BY THE IRISH LADIES GOLF UNION
Amy Farrell (Moate) is top of the leaderboard after the first qualifying round of the Lancome Irish Girls Close Championship at the Grange Golf Club. Amy shot a 3 over par round of 75 which included birdies at the par 4 fifth hole and par 3 eighth and returned level par on the back nine.
Paula Grant (Lisburn) lies one shot adrift on 76 in a round that included two birdies and an eagle at the par 5 489 yard 17thth. Defending champion Emma O'Driscoll lies in 10th place on 82.
