Georgia Hall (14) replaces Kelly Tidy in England team for GHI

NEWS RELEASE ISSUED BY THE ENGLISH WOMEN'S GOLF ASSOCIATION
Dorset 14-year-old Georgia Hall  has been called up to join England’s team for the Girls’ Home Internationals at Bangor Golf Club, Northern Ireland, from 4-6 August.
Georgia, who was the team reserve, replaces Lancashire’s Kelly Tidy who has had to re-schedule her plans following her victory in the ladies’ British amateur championship.
Kelly’s win brought her a place in the Ricoh Women’s British Open, at her home club, Royal Birkdale, from July 29-August 1. She is also playing in the British girls’ championship at Royal Belfast Golf Club from August 9-13.
Georgia, from Ferndown, Dorset, won the 2009 English U13 girls’ championship and the U14 trophy at the 2010 Scottish U16 open stroke-play championship, where she was in England’s winning Nations Cup team. This week Georgia and Cheshire’s Bronte Law are representing England in the European Young Masters in Hungary.
