Mhairi McKay (71), Sally Watson 75 top Scots at Oakmont

Michelle Wie, the world's No 10 ranked female professiona, shot an 11-over 82 to play herself out of contention after one round of the US Women's Open at Oakmont Country Club, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
Wie hit only four of 14 fairways off the tee and made just six greens in regulation during a frustrating round in which she had five bogeys and three double bogeys.
It was the 20-year-old Wie's worst round since an 84 at the Evian Masters in 2007.
Ricoh Women's British Open champion Catriona Matthew had disappointing opening round of 80 but there was better Scottish news from the sharp end of the scoreboard.
Glasgow's Mhairi McKay put her poor form of this season - she has to pre-qualify (at the moment) for the Women's British Open - with a par-matching round of 71 to be sharing sixth place, only two shots behind the leader, American Brittany Lang.
And Curtis Cup amateur Sally Watson (Elie and Earlsferry) can be proud of a 75 which put her ahead of many established names on the LPGA Tour.
