Play went ahead through incessent heavy rain at Golspie today in the Northern Counties Foursomes championships to find the North representatives to the the SLGA Commonwealth Spoons finals at Cathkin Braes on Sunday, September 23.
Going to the finals are two couples from Royal Dornoch, the cup winners with net 76, off 12 ,Trish Weekes and Dorothy Lloyd, accompanied by the scratch winners, Northern Counies team player Alison Bartlet and clubmate Margaret Baggot, whose winning scratch score turned into a second net place, 77, off 9.
