SLGA REGIONAL MEDAL QUALIFIERS AT PITREAVIE

Dianne Watson (Lundin Ladies), Jane Herd (Musselburgh), Annie Evans (Craigie Hill) and Heather Gough (Kinross) today qualified to take part in the Scottish Ladies Golfing Association’s Regional Medal Grand Final at Crieff Golf Club on Sunday, September 5.
They were taking part in the East regional medal final on a bright and breezy day at Pitreavie.
Dianne, playing off five, won the Silver Division with a net 72, one shot ahead of Jane Herd who has six of a handicap.
Third and fourth best in the Silver were Christine Bruce (Camperdown) (17) and Jane McDonald (Pitreavie) (14) on net 74. Christine had a better inward half than Jane.
In the Bronze Division, Annie and Heather both finished on the 69 mark, Annie off 24, Heather playing off 26. Annie won the No 1 position with a better inward half.
Third and fourth best in the Bronze were Ros Garvin (West Lothian), playing off 27, and Suzanne Crookston (Bathgate) with 24 of a handicap. Ros had a net 70, two ahead of Suzanne Crookston.
