plays Sedda in final

Lisa Maguire's good run in the British girls' open amateur championship at Royal Belfast Golf Club ended in disappointment in the semi-finals this morning when she was beaten 3 and 2 by the French women's champion, 18-year-old Alexandra Bonetti from Paris.
Disappointed, not so much at losing, but at not playing nearly as well as she has played or can play.
Lisa was thre three down after four holes and was always struggling after that. She was five over par for the 16 holes. Bonetti was two over par.
The French girl was four up after eight and again four after 11. Maguire holed a great 25ft birdie putt at the 13th which could have put the wheels on a recovery but Bonetti stifled that hope by following her in with a 15ft putt for a half in birdies. Lida did win the 15th to be three down with three to polay but it was too little too late.
Bonetti will play former Scottish Under-16 champion, Laura Sedda, in the final. Sedda, who won the first three holes but was pulled back to all sqaure after 11, won by one hole against Spain's Andrea Vilarasau.
Sedda was three over par and Vilarasau five over par.for the round. Both players were feeling nerves over the closing holes, climaxing with a half in three-putt bogey 6s by both on the 18th green.

SEMI-FINAL RESULTS
Laura Sedda (Italy) beat Andrea Vilarasau (Spain) 1 hole.
Alexandra Bonetti (France) beat Lisa Maguire (Slieve Russell) 3 and 2.
