DONNA WINS BANCHORY WOMEN'S OPEN


Murcar Links' Donna Pocock won the Banchory women's open on Saturday by three shots - without having played for four weeks due to a foot injury.
On her last outing she had equalled the Newburgh women's course record, then had to rest.
She won by three shots at Banchory from 15-year-old Kimberley Beveridge (Aboyne) with Kristina Vannet (Peterculter) third on 74.
