Sally wins, Stephanie loses in US Women's Amateur

Sally Watson advanced to the second round of the United States women's amateur championship with a 2 and 1 win over Margaret Shirley from Georgia by 2 and 1.
Curtis Cup reserve Stephanie Meadow lost by the same margin to Lizette Salas from Califonria.
