WPGA PRO CHAMPIONSHIP AT THE OXFORDSHIRE
3 in a row Glenmuir Glory For Loveys

Tracy Loveys proved unstoppable again as she withstood a few late jitters to clinch a hat-trick of Glenmuir WPGA Professional Championship titles at The Oxfordshire.
The Bigbury head professional notched up a Glenmuir treble, thanks to a final round 77 which gave her a one stroke victory over Huddersfield's Alexandra Keighley in the 36-hole event which is also supported by Peugeot and MPI Financial Services.
A delighted Loveys, a former Ladies European Tour player, ranked the feat up there with her three victories in the Roehampton Gold Cup but admitted she had done it the hard way after dropping five shots on the back nine.
"I was cruising through nine holes again but had a sloppy three putt on 10, and on 12 the rain again came down and wind got up making it virtually impossible to got a 5 there," she said.
"I three-putted 14, misjudged a shot into 17 and just about kept it out of the water and three putted the last. I think I was getting a little bit nervous because I could see it was getting a little bit tight.
"I try not to look at scoreboards but you can't help it on occasions so I was just relying on the leaderboard on 17 being right which meant I had the luxury of knowing I could take a bogey on the last and still win.
"It's a massive achievement to win three in a row. I won the Roehampton Gold Club three times but to win three on the spin is some achievement.
"I don't play a lot - the job takes up most of my time - but I still like to get out and play."
Keighley had set the clubhouse target at five over par following a second round 74.
Former champion Catherine Panton-Lewis (The Berkshire) fired a best of the day 73 to claim third spot.
