Stephanie helps Alabama win on college debut

Curtis Cup reserve Stephanie Meadow from Northern Ireland is now a freshman student at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa.
The Alabama women's team is a Division 1 team and is ranked fifth behind UCLA , USC, Arizona and Arizona State.
Stephanie played her first collegiate tournament at the NCAA Fall Preview in Texas this week.
Alabama won the team event with a 15-under-par total of 849, one shot ahead of Louisiana State with Southern California (856) third.
Stephanie finished 25th out of the 93 players, shooting three over par for the three rounds. Her scores were 72, 77 and 75 for 219.
Curtis Cup Scot Sally Watson (Stanford University) finished joint 59th with rounds of 75, 77 and 75 for 227.
