Steven Maxwell joint 11th in big Nebraska field

Steven Maxwell from Glasgow, a student at Western New Mexico University, tied for 11th place in a big field of 100 competitors at the NSIC/RMAC Regional Crossover tournament at Wildhorse Golf Club, Gothenburg in Nebraska this week.

Steven had rounds of 72, 69 and 78 for a total of 219 over the par-72 course of 6,770yd.
Winner was Gordy Dickman (St Cloud State) with 69, 70 and 70 for seven-under-par 209, which gave him a two-stroke victory.


Ross Milne from Aboyne, a second-year student at Dodge City Community College, Kansas, finished joint 14th in a field of 47 at the Kansas Junior Colleges golf tournament at Turkey Creek Country Club in the city of McPherson earlier this week.
Milne had two rounds of 76 for a total of 152, 14 shots behind the winner, Craig Howell (Hutchinson CC), over a 6,282yd course with a par of 70.
