Kelly Miller finishes seventh on US debut

Welsh girl international Kelly Miller, making her debut on the US college circuit, has helped Daytona State College to win their first team title of the season.
Competing in the Lady Falcon Invitational over the LPGA International Legends' course at Daytona Beach, Florida, freshman Kelly had the third best score of the five Daytona State team players.
Kelly, picture courtesy of Tom Ward Photography, scored 79 and 73 for 152 to finish joint seventh in a field of 60 players over a par-72, 6239yd course.
Team-mates Mitsuki Katahira (73-67 for 140) and Amy West (72-71 for 143) finished first and second.
Daytona Beach (589) won the team title by a comfortable margin from runners-up Florida Southern (607) in a field of 10 teams.
"They fought hard and deserved the win. This is a great way to start the season for these young ladies," said Daystona State College coach Laura Brown, whose team plays again next Monday-Tuesday in Bradenton at the USC-Waterlefe Invitational.
