Anna and Ami make top 20 in Kansas

Anna Carling from Wales and Ami Storey from North-east England finished joint 12th and joint 18th in a field of 69 players at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational women's college tournament at Alvamar Golf Club, Lawrence in Kansas this week.
Anna, a student at Arkansas State University, had rounds of 79, 74 and 76 for a total of 229 over a par-72 couorse of 6,279yd.Ami, a student at Kansas State University, had a total of 232, made up of rounds of 73, 75 and 84.
Kansas University players finished first and second on 219 and 220 - Grace Thiry from Australia with rounds of 73-73-73 and Kirsty Nugent with scores of 79, 69 and 72.
Kansas (903) won the team title ahead of University of Arkansas-Little Rock (913) and Kansas State (916). Arkansas State (963) finished ninth of 12.

Jacqueline Sneddon (Grand Canyon University) finished joint 34th in a field of 92 players at the Grand Canyon Women's Fall Invitational at Coldwater Golf Club, Goodyear in Arizona.
Jacqueline had scores of 80 and 76 for a total of 156 over a par-72, 6043yd course.
Winner with rounds of 72 and 69 for 141 was Adriana Niclotti (California Baptist).
Grand Canyon (597) finished third in the team event behind joint winners Western New Mexico and Western Washington, both with 591. There were 17 teams in the field.
