Harriet Owers Bradley from Nottingham, a student at Yale University, finished runner-up to team-mate See Hee Moon in the Sacred Heart Fall Classic at Great River Golf Club, Milford, Connecticut at the weekend.
Harriet, pictured, had rounds of 80 and 72 - the best second-round score - for a total of 152 over the par-72, 5,985yd course.
See Hee Moon had scores of 75 and 73 for a four-shot victory from Owers Bradley.
Yale, who provided the first four in the final totals, won the team title by 20 shots from Brown University in a field of 10 squads.
Emma Clegg makes top 20 in Tennessee
Emma Clegg (Missouri State) from Blackburn had scores of 79 and 77 to finished joint 19th in a field of 96 players at the Memphis Women's Invitational at Ridgeway Golf Club, Germantown, Tennessee.
Over a par-71 course of 6,176yd, Emma finished nine shots behind the joint winners on 147, Erika Thornton (Mississippi State) (71-76) and Vicky Correa (Southern Mississippi) (76-71).
Illinois (615) won the team event by three shots from joint runners-up Memphis and Missouri State in a field of 18 teams.
