Korea win by miles - Scotland tie for 28th spot - Amy Boulden ties for 4th Individual
The Korean players, Jung-Eun Han, Ji-Hee Kim and Hyun-Soo Kim finished 1,2,3 in the individual rankings, and won the Espirito Santo Trophy by a huge margin of 17 shots from their nearest rivals, the United States, in the Ladies World Team Championships on the Olivos Course near Buenos Aires, Argentina, today. Korea had a total of 546 (-30) over the four days of the tournament.
Hyun-Soo Kim had the best round of the Korean team today, a 3 under par 69, and Jung-Eun Han had a two under 70. Their 139 total increased the distance between them and the Americans by another four shots. The very respectable 71 from Ji-Hee Kim was not needed.
Danielle Kang was the best of the Americans on 70, Cydney Clanton had a 73 and Jessica Korda had a disappointing 76. The Americans totalled 563 (-13) over the four days.
Sweden, France and South Africa tied for third on 572 (-4)
Ireland were the best of the GB&I teams. They tied for 11th place on 577 (+1). Leona Maguire had a 69, Lisa Maguire a 74 and Danielle McVeigh a non-counting 79 over the Olivos course.
Wales tied for 17th on 581 (+5) playing on the Buenos Aires Course today. Amy Boulden had a 70, Tara Davies an even par 72 and Gemma Bradbury a 74.
England, playing their last round on the Olivos course, took 25th place on 586 (+10) Kelly Tidy had a 73, Holly Clyburn a 75 and Hannah Burke a 77.
Scotland could not improve on their 28th spot and finished on 590 (+14). Sally Watson had a 73, and Louise Kenney and Kelsey Macdonald both had 75s.
