Trish Brown, Captain of Renfrewshire, has asked asked me to pass on this message about the County Finals that Renfrewshire won this year:

"I do feel very sorry for Midlothian but it would have been quite nice if they had mentioned that Renfrewshire had won it fair and square this year!

"At a County Captains' meeting in October we put forward a change to the rules for the County Final, that halved matches WILL count from next year on. Proposed by me and seconded by Midlothian. It will be in next year's SLGA book."
