Tiffany Hewetson, pictured, from Brighton, a freshman student at Grand Canyon University, Arizona, has scored her first win on the US women's college circuit - and what better place to make the breakthrough than on the Waikaloa Beach Resort at Waikaloa, Hawaii.
Tiffany had rounds of 76, 75 and 75 for a total of 226 over a par-70 course of 5924yd.
She won by one shot from three players.

Grand Canyon team-mate Georgina Dunn, a senior (final year) student from Brighton, tied for fifth place in the field of 20 players with scores of 75, 75 and 80 for a total of 230.
Grand Canyon won the team event ahead of three Hawaii squads.
