Can't go anywhere for the snow? Time to plan your golfing holiday for next year then!
Log on to www.scottishgolfview.com for details of the golfing holiday of a lifetime. Ever played golf in Morocco? If not, you don't know what you are missing!
The Morocco Festival is your chance to stay in a five-star hotel and play competitively over five courses around the mystical city of Marrakech -
The Jack Nicklaus-designed SAMANAH course.
The Robert Trent Jones junior-designed PALMERAIE course.
The ROYAL Golf Club course, one of the oldest in Morocco, where Winston Churchill (didn't he paint, rather than golf?), David Lloyd George and General Eisenhower, are all reputed to have played.
The AL MAADEN course, designed by Kyle Phillips as a stiff enough test for the pro tour events that are held here.
AMELKIS, pictured, with its backdrop of the striking snow-covered high Atlas Mountains.
The Festival is made up of three separate tournaments, catering for the very good, low-handicap male or female player as well as the higher handicap golfers, competing in their own categories. There are also prizes for the best senior (male over-55s, female over-50s) performances.
