Annika Sorenstam is pregnant again. And that's official - straight from, if you'll excuse the expression, the horse's mouth.

The Swedish golfing legend, who retired at the top before she was too old to have childen, announced the exciting news on her Twitter account today.

“Mike and I are happy to share the news that our family will be a foursome by early summer,” Sorenstam wrote. “Ava is ready to be a big sister.”

The U.S. Women’s Open returns to the Broadmoor next year and Sorenstam will serve as honorary chair. She’s slated to be on site tournament week July 4-10, hosting an exhibition and dinner.

Sorenstam’s iconic professional career got its start at the Broadmoor in 1995, when she won her first LPGA event.

Now 40, Annika and husband Mike McGee welcomed their first child, Ava Madelyn, into the world on September 1, 2009. The couple lives in Lake Nona, Florida.
