Bad weather sees Catriona Matthew miss LPGA Championship

Catriona Matthew is a notable absentee in the LPGA Championship, which tees off today at Grand Cypress Golf Club, Orlando in Florida, after the Scot was forced to pull out of the event due to problems caused by the weather.
The 2009 Ricoh Women's British Open champion suffered her first blow when her mother, who lives in North Berwick and normally looks after Catriona's two young children when she makes such trips, slipped on ice and broke her wrist.
