Hayley, who finished third in the ladies’ table, was the runaway winner of the girls’ order of merit.
The 17-year-old from Ferndown won the English championship in her home county of Dorset and went on to represent England in the European championship, the ladies’ Home Internationals and in the winning team in the girls’ Home Internationals. She ended her season by winning the girls’ title at the Abu Dhabi junior championship.
Hayley also reached the quarter final of the French lady juniors’ championship, the last 16 of the British amateur championship and was runner-up in the Hampshire Rose. She won the Dorset county title.

Gloucestershire’s Charlotte Ellis is England’s No 1 lady amateur golfer while English champion Hayley Davis of Dorset is the country’s top girl golfer.
Charlotte, pictured by Cal Carson Golf Agency, from Minchinhampton, won the 2010 EWGA order of merit, sponsored by the golf holiday company Lorrin Golf, with a narrow victory over fellow international Nikki Foster.
During the year Charlotte represented England in the Home Internationals and was the top home player in the English strokeplay championship, finishing runner-up overall. She was a semi-finalist in both the English championship and the English mid-amateur.
